In the summer, you can take advantage of the many hiking trails. Other outdoor activities include rafting and fishing. Aspen also has an active cultural scene, hosting renowned year-round music and food festivals.

Good to Know:

  • Getting There: Fly into Denver Int'l Airport, where you can take another flight directly to Aspen or rent a car and drive five hours to Aspen.
  • Getting Around: A shuttle runs between the town and the airport. The downtown area is walkable, so there's only a need for a car if you also explore the area around Aspen.
  • When to Visit: The slopes are at their best from December through February. If you want to visit outside of skiing season, we recommend March through May for fewer crowds.
